Meditation Can Help

Many people come to meditation because they feel overwhelmed by the pace of modern life. Stress, anxiety, overthinking, emotional reactivity, difficulty concentrating, or a sense of being disconnected from themselves can leave us feeling depleted and unsettled. Meditation offers a practical way to cultivate greater calm, clarity, and balance. Through regular guided practice, you can develop the capacity to meet life’s challenges with more resilience, while also becoming more present for its moments of joy, connection, and meaning.

But I can’t meditate…

Many people believe they can’t meditate because their mind is too busy, distracted, or restless. In reality, most people just haven’t been taught how meditation actually works. The instructions can sound deceptively simple “just focus on the breath” so when the mind wanders, it’s easy to believe we’re doing it wrong. Meditation is a subtle skill that develops over time, and like any skill, it benefits from clear guidance, understanding, and practice. With the right support, what once felt frustrating or impossible can become a natural and rewarding part of daily life.

The course

The course draws on the wisdom of traditional Buddhist meditation from master Asanga and the practical, contemporary neuroscience based framework presented in The Mind Illuminated by Culadasa (John Yates PhD). Together, these teachings offer a clear and systematic path for developing meditation practice to restore the calm of your mind naturally.

By combining ancient contemplative wisdom with a modern understanding of how the mind learns and changes, this methodology helps practitioners overcome common obstacles, experience steady progress, and develop a meditation practice that becomes a genuine source of support, clarity, and wellbeing in daily life

While no teacher can guarantee a particular outcome, this approach has helped countless practitioners move beyond frustration and inconsistency to discover a practice they genuinely value and look forward to returning to.

The structure works because it meets you where you are and provides clear guidance for the next step on the journey. This practice has offered me more self connection, deeper emotional resilience, clarity in my life and a huge transformation from stress/overthinking to a calmer and more effective mind.

The course schedule

We will meet twice each month in a supportive group setting dedicated to learning, practising, and exploring meditation together. Each session includes guided practice, teaching, discussion, and opportunities to ask questions about your experience. The September-June format allows you to develop a steady practice at a sustainable pace, supported by a community of fellow practitioners who are walking a similar path.

The Course Includes
– Two online classes per month (September 2026 – June 2027)
– Regular online morning group meditations
– Access to audio recordings of the online class and meditations
– Meditation Q&A sessions for bespoke support
– Discounts off any retreat days or other meditation events with me during the year
– Reduced rate 1-1 coaching with me (£50 per session for course participants)

Course Cost
This course is offered on a tiered basis to support access to anyone who wants to join.
Just choose the tier that feels right for you.
Low income- £290 (50% deposit £145)
Standard- £390 (50% deposit £195)
Supporter- £490 (50% deposit £245)

A 50% deposit is asked to secure your place and instalments can be arranged if that feels useful. If the cost is preventative for you, please get in touch.

Open, gentle and kind, helped me to see my potential
