Welcome to the Empower Your Wellbeing course. I am so glad you’re here.

Before we begin, I’d love to offer a few top-tips inspired by previous course completers. Those who had the best results did these three simple things.

Make it matter

Choose a regular time each week or fortnight to watch the video and pop it in your diary as dedicated time for your wellbeing. Sounds easy doesn’t it? If you’re anything like me, the things I schedule in my diary that are “just for me” are the first things that get dropped (especially if someone else needs something). This course takes around 1 hour per week. You really deserve it. Its just for you and your wellbeing is very very important (wouldn’t you say that to someone else too!?). I recommend doing whatever you can that supports your commitment to this wellbeing journey. We learn best when we’re at ease and comfortable so for each session simply sit back and enjoy the session.

Self-Curiosity

The journey of this course is longer than 6 weeks. You don’t have to “have it all perfect and right” by the final session. The course is built to offer you a foundation of nourished living by giving you empowered understanding along with simple, useful, practical skills and tools to bring it into life. There is inspiration at the end of each session of what you could add, swap and discover for empowered wellbeing tweaks in the days and weeks ahead. With this inspiration, it is most useful to focus on “finding out” rather than “getting it exactly right”. Nourished wellbeing is about the long game! You could be stressed and try-really-hard for one week and then stop…..or you can keep finding out what works for you. (Remember- you have nothing to prove to anyone!)

Language matters

The course involves nutrition and language tools for our relationship with food, our body and ourself. My experience has shown that the language tools are an essential element of long term, feel-good, sustainable change. The language tools arise from the question of “Who is the author of your life?” and in this context, who is the author of your relationship with food and your body? We will gather new ways of thinking and speaking along the journey and it can be useful to journal or do inner mental-rehearsals with the new language to find out what feels good for you. It may feel unfamiliar at first but it will be worth it by Session 6, I promise! It can be useful to remember that our more “familiar” current language patterns around food have largely been taught subconsciously through marketing and advertising with the purpose to sell more junk for a profiteering food culture! Their profit at our expense. Empowered language is a form of cultivating your self authored life.

Session 1

Welcome to Session 1!

In this session we cultivate choice and self compassion by exploring the systemic issues impacting our relationship with food. We gather 3 tools to empower our choices to bring us more freedom and ease in connecting with a nourishing life. Enjoy the video below and remember- let the inspiration be a “finding out” rather than a “doing it right”.

Session 1 Inspiration

-Explore your Critical Lens in food packaging, marketing and advertising.
Q- what are they really selling?

-Develop Compassionate Self Awareness of your Food Talk

-Choose a 10-11 hour eating window that suits you for 5 days

-Nurture yourself- enjoy at least two pieces of fruit and 1750ml of water each day




Welcome to Session 2!

In this session we begin to develop Empowered Language to allow us to become the author of our own choices (and our life!). From this empowered place we deep-dive carbohydrates to learn how to feel full and satisfied- without cravings!

You’ll have clarity of exactly how sugar creates addiction, and how to break the habit! We’ll share in the first simple and incredibly useful nutrition label tool for identifying the most nourishing foods whilst avoiding sugar spikes and sugar crashes with ease.

Session 2 Inspiration

Can you have two wholegrains each day?

Use the fibre test on human-made-products and discover swaps or simply ways to fibre boost

Fibre boost any meal or snack by adding veggies, nuts, seeds, beans, hummus or fruit

Explore the Empowered Language if choice “Today I’d like to…” “Nice but not worth it.”

Experience 3 days of low/no refined sugars by focusing on what you’ll enjoy instead

Continue with your water and daily at least two pieces of fruit




Welcome to Session 3!

In this session we begin to Empower our Focus by asking carefully chosen questions that most support our nourishing journey- so we can feel great the whole way through! Then we deep-dive into how certain fats are completely essential to give us the best of focus, cognitive function, good mood and long term brain health.

We’ll share in our second simple and incredibly useful nutrition label tool for identifying the most nourishing foods whilst avoiding compromising our healthy blood flow and energy levels.

Session 3 Inspiration

Add daily nuts and seeds (in their whole food form, as nut butters or in smoothies)

Beige snack swap to reduce your intake of saturated fats and transfats

Use the Fat Test to identify products high in saturated fats for portion tweaks or to discover swaps

Experience (and notice whats different) with 3 days animal dairy-free

Continue with your water and daily at least two pieces of fruit




Welcome to Session 4!

In this session we get excited about Treating Ourselves Well and discover the endless possibilities of a ‘treat yourself well’ life. Protein is the focus for this session so we will dispel many myths and bring clarity to meat, meat alternatives, dairy, eggs and more. We get to play my favourite game “bonus or baggage” which will take us into the story of cholesterol that could just save your life (really!)

Session 4 Inspiration

Treat yourself well
Q- What do I need really need right now?

Lower cholesterol by swapping to beans, tofu, tempeh and meat & dairy alternatives

When I say “beans” I mean any and all beans including chickpeas, blackbeans, kidney beans, cannelini beans, black eyed beans, aduki beans, butter beans, edamame beans, mixed beans etc etc.

Continue with your water and daily aim for at least three pieces of fruit




Welcome to Session 5!

I love this session because knowing how to help the body to heal and repair is one of the greatest gifts we can offer ourselves. And its so simple too!

As well as healing and repairing (the most natural way to improve mood, energy levels and immune function) we explore the gut microbiome so you’ll have a full, deep understanding of how to prevent leaky gut and improve your focus and emotional resilience.

Session 5 Inspiration

Align with food as the greatest opportunity to support our wellbeing. Get inspired with the question
Q- “How nourishing could this be?”

Get colourful, flavourful & fibreful by boosting your meals with extra veggies, fruits, berries, herbs and spices

Fibre boost for happy gut microbiome rabbits & discover swaps instead of the Nutritionally Devoid Products (especially oily, floury, sugary NDP’s) which feed the risky gut microbiome pigeons.

Continue with your water and daily aim for at least three pieces of fruit




Welcome to Session 6!

Here we find ourselves at the end of the course. We can take this opportunity to overview each tool and the aspects of nutrition so you can integrate all that you’ve learnt. On top of that, we will use some powerful coaching tools to ensure that this course can continue to support you into the future for long term, sustainable and enjoyable nourished living.
